young children up to about 40 pounds in weight. Positioning Graco car seats
so that they face the rear offers the same extra protection as the infant
seats – the child will not be thrown forward in case of a collision.
When your child gets a bit older, you can position convertible Graco car
seats so that they fact the front. This still offers lots of protection as
the seats have a 5-point harness system that will keep your child secure in
case of a collision.
When your child outgrows the convertible seat, you can get one of the
booster Graco car seats for him or her. These models give your child the
extra height needed to securely use the car seat belts.
